New bedrooms and fun dances make very happy girls.

We recently remodeled the girls bedrooms...

Megan in her newly painted room. Her colors are green and white.

May in her newly painted and refurnished room. The walls are yellow, the ceiling is blue, and there is a purple strip along the top.

Thank you to Bernard for all of his hard work and of course to the girls who helped as well. Now that the smell of paint is gone, they are both excited to sleep in their new bedrooms.

Megan also went to a stake dance. May acted as her personal hair stylist.

Megan just before she went to a dance. May did her hair beautifully!

AuTuMn!!!

Fall is here and we love the weather. Melissa is enjoying BYU and Mikey is getting cuter and cuter. We love to see him grow. Soon he'll be walking.

Happy Halloween! Mikey in his Eyore costume! Doesn't he make such a cute donkey?

Mikey is being thrown up in the air by his Aunt Megan. Look at that cute smile!

Michael, Tiffany, and little Mikey. Such a cute family! We feel so blessed to have them in our lives.

We really love Autumn and our little family get-togethers. Everyone is here except for Melissa, who is at BYU, and Tiffany, who is of course taking the picture. How blessed we are to have each other!

Our First Family Reunion!

We had our first family reunion with Mike, Tiff and Mikey at Pine View Lake. We went camping for a few days and we all had a wonderful time. It will definitely be a tradition to come here.

A beautiful sunrise!

Summer

We have been having a wonderful summer. Being grandparents is so much fun and we absolutely adore Mikey. Recently we celebrated my birthday and it was a lot of fun. We love family visits and it's so nice having Mike and Tiff close.

California Summer 2008

We took our yearly vacation to California and had a wonderful time. We made a stop in Mesquite and slept at hotel Eureka.

Swimming at our hotel in Mesquite. The girls loved it!

Eating breakfast at Goleta Beach. We enjoyed feeding the seagulls left-over chicken.

Megan and her sandcastle at Carpenteria State Beach

Eating lunch at a Mexican restaurant

Bernard enjoyed every minute at the beach, especially swimming with the waves.

Our goal as a family was to run every morning on the beach. We did very well. Here the family is posed at Henry's Beach.

Melissa and Megan got all dressed up to go shopping at the plaza in downtown Santa Barbara.

We stayed with our wonderful friends in Santa Barbara. They had very comfortable chairs that we all took advantage of. Here Sylvie and Lucy are relaxing. I am not sure what May is doing in the corner.

Lucy took our family to feed the fish at a complex. The fish were huge! We all had so much fun feeding and touching them.

We spent an afternoon on the famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Here May strikes a pose similar to that of the figure behind her.

While we were walking around Rodeo Drive and looking at all of the shops, Bernard had us pose on a bench for a picture. This young man approached us and told us that he'd take the picture. Bernard joked around with him for a while and was like "No, you'll still our camera." This guy then attempted to grab the camera and run off...we think he was joking. Anyways we gave him the camera and this is what we got...

It's a beautiful shot, and we still have our camera. Life is good.
